Born and raised in Richmond, BC, Canada, my childhood life was filled with playing video games, watching Saturday morning cartoons and drawing. I always wanted to pursue an artisitc career as I grew up, leading me to graduate with a visual arts degree from the University of British Columbia.

After travelling abroad and working in both Canada and Japan, I decided to seriously pursue a careeer as a 3D animator. I joined the one year intensive 3D Animation and Visual Effects program at Vancouver Film School and graduated with honors on August 2009. I am currently working on a group project, being involved in character design and animation.

I want to thank all my friends, family and everyone who gave me a helping hand to start my life as an animator.

牛島　興一

カナダのBC州、リッチモンド市生まれ。幼い頃からアニメーションやテレビゲームに夢中になり、絵を描く事が趣味に。後にバンクーバーのUniversity of British Columbiaで美術を学び卒業。

数年間カナダや日本に働いた後、アニメーターとしての道を歩みたいと決心し、Vancouver Film Schoolで3Dコンピューターアニメーションを学ぶ。2009年の8月に優等生名簿の一名として卒業し、現在コンテストやグループプロジェクトを積極的に参加。キャラクターデザインやアニメーションを手掛けている。
